Andrei ArlovskiAndrei Arlovski is an MMA fighter who fears no one. Andrei has been thrown in with some fierce opponents over the years, but is never detered from returning. When training Andrei takes bodybuilding very seriously to build up his strength for those 'deadly' blows. Its little wonder then that six out of Andrei's nine MMA wins have been KO's!!
Andrei Arlovski's Bio:Andrei Arlovski was born in Minsk, Belarus on Febuary 4, 1979. Whilst growing up Andrei played soccer, and was just 14 when he started working out. Andrei was bullied at school and thought being bigger and stronger would make this stop. Andrei became more and more interested in fitness and combat sports as he got older and became involved in martial arts when he was 18. After leaving high school, Andrei Arlovski was educated in the police academy in Minsk. It was here where Andrei was required, as a part of his training, to learn Sambo and was found to be very competent in it. After finding his new talent in Sambo, Andrei went on to win the youth European Sambo Championship, the World Youth Sambo Championships and later took a silver in the Sambo World Cup and World Championships. Andrei Arlovski began fighting in MMA back in 1999 at a competition in St Petersberg, Russia. The fight didn't go well for Andrei, and he was KO'd by Viacheslav Datsik after 6 minutes, 5 seconds. Undetered by the loss, Andrei came back in 2000 to take his first heavyweight title in the European Championships, with a victorious TKO. Andrei Arlovski went on to fight in the UFC and took out wins on seven of the ten occasions, many with convincing KO's. Andrei now lives, trains and fights from Chicago, USA.
