Carlos Newton's Bio: Carlos Newton was born on August 17, 1976 in the West Indies (British Virgin Islands) and moved to Canada when he was young. Carlos has been involved in Martial Arts since he was in school and got a lot of inspiration from watching Dragonball anime.
Carlos Newton began fighting in the UFC back in 1998. He is well known in the fighting business as a fighter who takes his time, and thinks about his every move. This is how he has managed to defeat opponents that are much bigger than him.
Carlos is also a talented student. He has studied premed and finds the philosophical side of martial arts very interesting. Carlos has studied numerous textbooks on different types of martial arts.
Carlos Newton is now part of a coaching team for the International Fight Leaque, coaching the Dragons who are due to debut in the next 8-team IFL event in september 2006.
Carlos is still considered to be in his prime as a fighter and is gaining experience rapidly. This will help him in achieving his goal of being a UFC Welterweight titleholder.
