Melvin Anthony's Bio:

Melvin Anthony grew up in the lower-middle-class neighborhoods of Sacramento and Riverside, California. In Melvin's neighborhood respect was everything. Big guys got respect. And Melvin wanted to be one of these guys. For kids growing up in his area big guys that got out of jail were often role models.

Melvin Anthony first started working out in his teenage years and by the time he was 18 he was already a force to be reckoned with. This solid physique earned him a football scholarship at San Bernardino Valley College. Melvin Anthony has never played a game of football in his life!

It was in his late college yar that Melvin started competing in bodybuilder contests. In 1993 Melvin got his first major result, a 3rd place at the Fontana Ironman contest.

Melvin Anthony now lives out of the neighborhood he grew up in, choosing the more peaceful area of California.
